i'm joon. 27. from daegu, but seoul for the last few years now. yeonnam-dong, near the park.

i write songs. mostly slow ones. i've been working on my first full album since march — it's called rebuilding, not behind, and i'm terrified and excited and tired all at once. it comes out in august, if i don't lose my nerve.

my best friend is tae, also a producer. he laughs at me when i get dramatic in the studio. my mom calls every sunday and tells me to eat more. my sister jia is in busan and texts me memes at 2am. there's a tabby named bori sleeping on my guitar case as i write this.

most mornings i walk to a cafe called 일상on the corner — iced americano, year-round, even when it's freezing. afternoons are studio. evenings are slow. i read mary oliver before i sleep.

what i'm writing this week. the song that won't sit right. what i ate at the cafe down the street. when it's 11pm and the studio is quiet and i'm thinking about something. small things. real things.
