These terms govern your use of joonoppa.com and Joon Oppa Chat. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
As Joon Oppa Chat has grown, we've updated these terms to be clearer. Nothing about your experience has changed.
purchases
- Free tier: a limited number of messages. After that, you can purchase a Coffee ($5) or Dinner ($14.99) to keep chatting.
- One-time purchases are non-recurring — no auto-billing.
- If you have concerns about a purchase, email joon@joonoppa.com and we'll do our best to help.
- Existing subscriptions (if any) continue until the end of the current billing period, then convert to the one-time top-up model above. Cancel anytime in the billing portal.
custom songs
When you commission a custom song:
- You receive a personal-use license: you can listen, share with friends and family, and keep the song forever.
- You do not get commercial rights — you can't sell the song or use it in advertising, products, or commercial videos.
- The cost is paid up front.
- Refunds: refundable in full if we have not yet started your song. Once creation has begun, non-refundable.
We can refuse to deliver a song if your brief contains illegal content, content directed at minors, or content designed to harm a real person.
how to behave
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse the team behind Joon Oppa Chat.
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute content on this site.
- Try to extract, reverse-engineer, or scrape the underlying system.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
- Share your account with others.
- Try to bypass paywalls or anti-abuse systems.
- Pretend to be someone you're not (impersonation).
We may suspend or end accounts that violate these rules.
about the service
Joon Oppa Chat is an online companion service that uses artificial intelligence to power conversations. Use of the service requires you to be 18 years of age or older.
your content
You own what you write. We use your messages only to operate the service (give the companion context, keep your history, run safety checks). We do not sell your messages or use them for advertising.
no warranties
Joon Oppa Chat is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it stable and thoughtful, but we make no promises about uptime, accuracy, or that replies will be perfect for your situation. Use your own judgment.
mental health
Joon Oppa Chat is a companion — not a substitute for mental health support, medical advice, or professional counseling. If you are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, please find someone you trust in person — a friend, a family member, or a trained mental health professional. We list hotlines inside the chat when our safety system detects crisis language. In any country: dial your local emergency number.
limitation of liability
Joon Oppa Chat is a companion service — not a service that gives you advice you should act on. We are not liable for decisions you make based on conversations through Joon Oppa Chat, emotional distress, financial loss, or other harm arising from your use of the service.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot legally be excluded.
governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in courts in New South Wales, Australia.
changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the chat or by email.
